Fight for Fifteen

As we all have the discussion of where the minimum wage should be, realize there used to be a time when people could survive from it. $15.00 is not crazy. If the trends from 1968 remained in place, we would see a $22.00 / hour minimum wage.

Some effects of raising it. For starters people ill be able to afford silly things like food, without food stamps, and shoes, new shoes. It will also place pressure upwards on the wage scale. A $10.00 /hour job will no longer be seen as a good job. The downward wage pressure will come to an end.

I guarantee a Keynseian stimulus to the economy.

It will be a fight, but I believe we will see this in the end. Oh and yes, labor movement 2.0 is well underway.
