The Supreme Court Effectively Legalizes Same Sex Marriage in Five States


Oct. 6, 2014 (WASHINGTON) Be refusing to hear five cases the Supreme Court essentially legalized same sex marriage in eleven states.

Directly affected, since the Justices did not hear the cases, are the states of Virginia, Indiana, Wisconsin, Oklahoma and Utah.


The Court refused to listen to the cases; their decisions affect six more states who are under the appellate courts. These states are North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Colorado, Kansas and Wyoming.

Oct. 6, 2014 (WASHINGTON) Al rehusar a escuchar cinco casos la Suprema Corte efectivamente legalizo el matrimonio entre parejas del mismo sexo en once estados.

De forma directa están afectados los estados de Virginia, Indiana, Wisconsin, Oklahoma y Utah.

Al rehusar a escuchar los casos, la decisión afecta a otros seis estados ya que sus cortes de apelación están bajo las decisiones. Estos son North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Colorado, Kansas Y Wyoming.
