May 12, 2016 (CHP) Construction crews will close all northbound lanes on State Route 67 (SR-67) between Wintergardens Boulevard and Mapleview Street Friday, May 13, and Saturday, May 14, from 9 at night until 11 the following morning.
The closures are needed to allow crews to replace the asphalt pavement with a more durable concrete pavement. The work is dependent upon favorable weather conditions.
During the closures, the primary detour route will be to exit northbound SR-67 at Winter Gardens Boulevard then turn left to cross over the highway, right on Industry Road, left on Channel Road, right on Lakeside Avenue and left onto northbound SR-67.
A secondary detour will be available but is subject to weight restrictions.
Vehicles weighing more than seven tons may use the primary detour or may exit at Riverford Road/Woodside Avenue and then turn left on Woodside Avenue, left on Riverford Road, right on Riverside Drive to Lakeside Avenue, left on Lakeside Avenue and left onto northbound SR-67.
Signs will be placed to assist motorists around the closures.
