May 18, 2016 (San Diego) As usual we are just giving the raw numbers of pledged delegates.
Secretary Hillary Clinton has 1767 delegates and Senator Bernie Sanders has 1488. They need 2383 to secure the nomination, There are 946 delegates still for grabs, with the largest concentration in California. California will be a battle for delegates.
Neither is expected to secure them before the Convention, where super delegates will matter. Unless one of the two suspends, this looks like it will go to the floor in Philadelphia.
