July 25, 2016 (Philadelphia) This is a regular floor vote, like not seen in many decades. This was not an acclamation, as declared in 2008 by Hillary Clinton. Bernie Sanders wanted this to help bring back unity to the party. This is pure process.
This is history, regardless on what side you are on. Vermont will go last and we expect something special from Sanders. This is also an effort to close the newly reopened wounds after the leak of the DNC wiki leaks emails. The DNC was not neutral, but Sanders has put the country ahead of any personal interests. He feels that Donald Trump is a danger to the country.
Senator Sanders moved to suspend the rules, after all delegate votes were cast, to nominate Clinton by acclamation.
