00:35 One suspect in custody, search continues. Also the officers were transported to Scripps Mercy, the ER is cordoned off, this is according to NBC San Diego.

If you are in the area this is a very heavy police presence wiht officers from the following Departments:

  • San Diego PD
  • Chula Vista PD
  • National City
  • Sherfifs
  • California Highway Patrol

July 28, 2016 (San Diego) Two San Diego Police Officers were shot about half an hour ago east of the Interstate 5 and interstate 15 interchange. We have no idea what led to this, or the condition of the officers.

We advise you to stay out of the area due to heavy police activity in the area, as they search for suspects, and expect police activity will likely go into the morning.

There is heavy police activity in the area.
