House Approves Repeal of ACA (Obamacare)

Jan 13, 2017 (WASHINGTON) The House has started the process to repeal the Affordable Care Act. However there is no replacement even in early discussion.

The vote came as no surprise and it was bipartisan. As we have written in the recent past this will leave 35 million Americans without any form of health insurance and cost over 100,000 jobs in California alone

The macroeconomic effects of the repeal, without any replacement, are expected to have a negative impact on the economy.
