Analysis by Reporting San Diego
Jan 27, 2017 (WASHINGTON) The White House released one of the many executive orders. They are well on track to issue more orders than the whole of the Barack Obama administration in the first year alone. Regardless this one got our attention. Buried within the order was this paragraph:
(b) To better inform the public regarding the public safety threats associated with sanctuary jurisdictions, the Secretary shall utilize the Declined Detainer Outcome Report or its equivalent and, on a weekly basis, make public a comprehensive list of criminal actions committed by aliens and any jurisdiction that ignored or otherwise failed to honor any detainers with respect to such aliens.
Yes, this is dealing with sanctuary cities, that have vowed to resist federal orders and to protect immigrant communities. Why did this send chills down our backs? This is about creating internal enemies. The last time any nation engaged in the listing of criminal acts by a minority, that was Nazi Germany.
This was published weekly as well. It was started early before race laws took hold. This should alarm any and all Americans. It does not matter if you voted for Donald Trump or not. This is the kind of policy that leads to very dark places. What other countries have done this? Rwanda, they used similar lists read on radio against the Tutsi minority.
This is well-known territory for any student of genocides, and it is a tool set of the authoritarian state. We are at the early stage of a genocide. This is the classification stage. We are being told who are the outsiders. These are both Mexicans and Muslims. We have a choice, and we can either speak out now or face the fact that we are going down a very dark road.
It is happening here. If you ever wonder what you would do in Nazi Germany, it is time for you to realize we are at that point.
The administration also signed executive orders barring refugees, Muslim refugees and adding religious tests to immigration. This is a classification of populations. The classification includes religious tests.
