April 6, 2017 (CHP) Crew will close lanes on Dye Road and Highland Valley Road at State Route 67 (SR-67) between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. tonight and Thursday in order to stripe the pavement and relocate the temporary construction barriers.
The intersection will remain open with one-way traffic control in effect on both Dye and Highland Valley roads. Motorists can expect delays and are advised to allow extra time to reach their destinations.
The SR-67 Dye Road/Highland Valley Road Improvement Project will widen SR-67 at the intersection from one to two through lanes in each direction and include additional turn lanes on SR-67 to improve traffic flow.
Construction is expected to be completed in summer. More information about the SR-67 Dye Road/Highland Valley Road Improvement Project may be found at www.dot.ca.gov/d11/projects/67_DyeRoad.pdf.
Motorists are reminded to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment in the project area. The work schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions.
