Cal Fire on Scene of Wildfire at Hwy 94 and Marron Valley

The fire is now at 25 percent containment. 
The county posted further information. The fire is st 120 acres, moving in a northerly direction. There are no evacuations or road closures. 

Cal-Fire informs that it is 15 percent contained. 

CAL FIRE is now informing that the fire is at 110 acres with zero containment, They also shared this photo from the Incident Command post, 

CAL FIRE is now adding that the fire is at 50 acres with zero containment.

We are also learning that thankfully wind is not a factor in this fire. 

On a further update, CAL FIRE is letting us know the resources committed so far. They are 20 fire engines, 10 hand crews, 7 water tenders, 3 bulldozers, 3 type II helicopter, 2 type I helicopters, the San Diego Gas and Electric Helitanker, 4 fixed wing aircraft and 220 total personnel. 

September 1, 2017 (EAST COUNTY) CAL FIRE is on scene at Highway 94 and Marron Valley Road near the town of Dulzura, It has been dubbed the border fire, The fire at this time is at 40 acres with zero percent containment. 

CAL FIRE posted this map on their twitter feed of the area affected. The fire has a moderate rate of spread in what is reported to be heavy fuels. There is no structure threat at this time. They are also responding with both air and ground assets.
