Sep 18, 2017 (San Diego). Republicans have a problem. They control the House, the Senate and the White House, yet they cannot attract the votes to actually repeal the Affotdable Care Act (ACÁ). Like a zombie, a new bill has taken shape.
This one is just as bad as the last one. Possibly, worst.
This, if passed, will leave 32 million Americans without coverage. It will return the country to 2011 or so. It will be extremely bad for the economy as well. Never mind they seemed to have given up the ghost, they are ready to spend yet more unavailable political capital.
We suspect this is the primaries that approach that has them afraid of primaries from their far right.
At this point Republicans should be considering single payer, not this.
